Warning!!!! There are some really hard bass lines and some really extreme subsonics in this set. Keeping that in mind, please be careful when you play this, it can damage some speakers, even though it is just an Mp3.
I really tried to find that trippy bass heavy brain throbbing sound for this set, and damn it worked pretty good. This was only going to be a 1 hour set, so I was totally spinning on the fly and randomly grabbing tracks for the last half.
I journeyed from ambient dub all the way to techstep and funky basslines, hope everyone grooves on it!

I have been getting back into spinning dubstep and drum+bass music again, so I just had the urge to throw down some of the old school sounding jungle style heavy bass dub grooves. I still look back on the mid 90's ragga, dub and jungle/bass underground scene as some of the best days of my life; both as a DJ and as a mad crazy party time when it all looked so good before the sun came up.
I tired to pick the most psychedelic and mind expanding tracks from a huge pile of promo dub plates and rough cut white labels, and this is what happened. This entire set was spun from promo copy acetates or digital transfer copies rough cut to dub plates. There are some glitchy spots and some problems on a few of the transitions because of the bad groove cuts on some of the plates, but this is a live set so it can't be helped now.
I was trying to explore the full range of sounds and styles from the rapidly growing dub step movement, so I hope enjoyed the trip.

I am a DJ and audio producer. I run a small startup record label Mind Bomb Records and Thought Bomb Productions a DJ promotions group/live sound collective.
I have over 20 years experience DJing and playing live, mostly at underground clubs, after parties, outdoor fests, forest parties and warehouse raves. I am currently doing live radio shows and playing psy parties and undergrounds.
I play dub, dubstep, psychedelic trance, neurotrance, trance, psychill, psydub, downtempo, ambient, lounge, ska, jazz, techno, punk, industrial, goth and just about anything else that I like. I have a very diverse range of music and like to play it for people.
Right now I am focused on all things related to psychedelic electronic music and the various forms of trance, dub, chillout/ambient, electro, breaks, house and dubstep. If it's mind expanding then I play it!
